Myra Ellen Amos was born on August 22, 1963 in Newton, North Carolina, USA. Her family moved to Baltimore where she was brought up and spent much of her childhood. The beautiful singer started playing piano when she was about 4. In a year she was accepted to the Peaboy Conservatory of Music. Amazingly she was the youngest person in the Academy. We should say Tori was an extraordinary child who could be disobedient and rebellious. Tori played in a rock band and then was expelled from the school. The group released their first album in 1988. Unfortunately the album was a severe flop and the rock band broke up. Despite it Tori Amos decided to do her solo gig and she was successful. Needless to say Tori has a strong and original voice and her lyrics is beautiful. To add she is perfect in playing piano so Tori didn't have to wait for fame. At the age of 21 she moved to L.A. where she participated in various bands who played pop and metal music. After a while the band released their album 'Little Earthquakes' and then Tori moved to London where she began one of the most popular singer. One of her most startling song is 'Me and a Gun' has been still treated as a smash hit. In 1994 Tori had been working over releasing her second album 'Under the Pink' which was fleshed out with unbelievable orchestral arrangements. In two years the great singer released her third album "Boys For Pele". Since that time she has been known as one of the most original and favourite singer of the 21th century.
