This blond short-haired actress is loved by viewers for her radiant smiles. Born on November 20, 1976 in Canada, Laura Harris has gladdened her fans since she was five. Being a responsible student she managed to act in radio dramas and to master Spanish and French. By 14 Harris focused on television productions more and landed some minor roles in TV series. Laura is known for her roles in a series Dead Like Me, spy drama "24" and films The Faculty, The Calling and Severance. Though Harris headed for Los Angeles to concentrate on her acting career, she found production work to be more involving. Together with her friend Jeff Macpherson she founded a production company named 'Rocket Chicken International Productions'. The first independent film released in this studio was Come Together, written by Macpherson as a Christmas present for Harris. Of course, an actress landed a leading role in the film, as it was specifically written for her. Recently Harris has been featured in a series Defying Gravity, launched in summer 2009.
