Emmanuelle Chriqui was born as Emmanuelle Sophie Anne Chiriqui on December 10, 1977 in Montreal, Quebec in a strict Jewish family. As a girl she was interested in performing so her parents enrolled Chriqui at acting school. Later, Emmanuelle decided to connect her life with acting and not to waist time to make this dream true, she refused to study at college; instead she became fully involved in acting. Indeed, as a child she had experience of posing in front of the cameras while starring in commercials of McDonald's. After her moving to Vancouver in 90s, Chriqui appeared in a number of TV series like Once A Thief, Kung Fu, Are You Afraid of the Dark and some others. In 1999 she was offered to star in a Hollywood film. Her first role was in a movie Detroit Rock City, which was followed by some others in films On the Line, In the Mix, 100 Girls and Adam and Eve. The latter was Chriqui's first experience of acting naked as she was portraying sexy Eve. Alongside her film roles, Chriqui also acted in many television series like Entrourage, arrison Bergeron, Unwed Father, Principal Takes a Holiday and Futuresport. Emmanuelle also voiced a heroine in anime Vampire Princes Miyu. Chriqui's pictures were featured in Maxim magazine in May 2006 issue among the Hot 100 Women's of the World.
